Potato Seed Cutter

In the late months of 2011 I decided my employment needed to shift away from computer programming work and instead reflect my passion for machines and mechanical engineering. A serendipitous meeting in the sauna turned into part-time, during-school employment with All Star Manufacturing & Design LLC (formerly Better Built Manufacturing), located in Orem, Utah. I quickly learned to operate steel-working machines including hydraulic shears and benders, iron-workers and punches, grinders and tumblers, MIG welding and even the fork lift. I left work each day dirty, tired and satisfied by my hard work and new skills.
