Summer 2015 got me itching for the exhilarating start-up life. I joined a friend in his new business, Novi Security, developing an already Kickstarter-blowout, all-in-one home security system. As a contracted engineer in the firm, I designed and built a test bench for the device's custom PCB, capable of probing every key connection point. I also researched and developed key hardware components including the translucent flash shield and various mounting schemes.
